If you are between the ages of 13 and 20, live within the city limits, and want to help plan the activities for the youth of La Mesa, the City is looking for you.
As a commission member, you will have the opportunity to explore and develop activities that will promote positive youth relations in the City and gain volunteer experience that can be applied towards community service hours. This experience also looks great on college and job applications.
Commission meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Center, 4975 Memorial Drive.
Completed applications must be returned to the City Clerk’s office no later than 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 to be considered in the Sept. 27 interview process.
