The San Diego Young Choreographers Showcase and Prize is in its seventh year and the San Diego Dance Theater has brought it to the White Box Theater in Liberty Station.
The competition will take place Saturday, March 4 in two sessions; 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The prizes will be awarded at a reception following the 8 p.m. competition. Votes from a panel of judges plus votes from the audience will determine the winners of the prize money.
The categories of the awards are “Most Original Choreography,” “Most Compelling Performance,” and “Audience Favorite.”
