Wreaths to honor fallen servicemen and women are laid at the Soledad cross during the Memorial Day ceremony at Mt. Soledad. Keynote speaker was USN Rear Adm. Joseph Maguire. Many vets said they attended this year because it may be the final Memorial Day ceremony at the cross, which faces court-ordered removal from the site.
