A 53-year-old female was riding her scooter southbound on Plum Street on Friday, Jan. 19 about 10 a.m. She tried to make a right turn onto Lowell Street. She failed to negotiate the turn and lost control of the scooter, crashing into the sidewalk. The female sustained facial fractures and a laceration to her chin. Alcohol or drugs are not a factor in the collision. Traffic Division responded and will be handling the investigation.
