NOVO DIA Wellness Experience will be holding its inaugural event on Saturday, Oct. 1, with immersive wellness, art, and food experience in the remodeled Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla.
Founder of Pineapple Live/NOVO DIA Wellness, Igor Lascani, hopes the event will provide an experience that raises awareness of how health is important to the human body, mind, and spirit through simple practices such as yoga, breathwork, or meditation.
“Attendees can expect a welcoming environment, filled with top professionals in the industry who will be guiding our classes and workshops ranging from yoga to sound bath, meditation, breathwork, and more,” said Lascani. “We will be serving an organic breakfast with healthy selections carefully prepared by Toast Catering and a juice and cocktail bar.”
The 29-year-old native of São Paulo, Brazil, had a passion for live entertainment, which started at an early age when he used to go to concerts that his family, who was heavily involved in concert production, and worked with the biggest names in the Brazilian country music industry. It was there that Lascani was able to first experience what backstage was like and it was then that he found out that producing events was his future.
“I am sure our guests will leave the event feeling refreshed and ready for a Novo dia (new day), which for us means a chance to fully reset, reenergize to a new beginning,” he added. “NOVO DIA’s mission is to provide space and growth to the San Diego wellness community. We are super happy with the professionals we have guiding and teaching our classes and workshops.”
Lascani’s inspiration behind the event started with the desire to fully reset after the pandemic brought out some serious challenges to every industry. His Pineapple Live team had to reinvent themselves, being that their specialty has always been music events, but found a new opportunity in wellness intentionally designed to give attendees a push and a reset at the same time.
“The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego is the perfect home for our inaugural event because of its unique architecture, art, and breathtaking views,” said Lascani. “The museum staff have been wonderful to work with and very welcoming with our event, which I appreciate. I strongly believe that art enhances creativity and critical thinking, two major components of every human being.”
Every attendee will have access to the galleries of the museum to add an art component to the event. NOVO DIA will continue to do monthly activations on a smaller scale and two bigger events every year similar to the one taking place on Saturday. The focus for every single event will continue to be the empowerment of the San Diego wellness community, welcoming new entrepreneurs, business owners, and individuals while providing space for new faces and names to connect with a bigger audience.
The event on Oct. 1 starts at 9 a.m. with attendees having the option of any of of the different ticket levels. For more information and tickets, visit novodiawellness.com.
