From 9 p.m. on Friday, June 16, to 5 a.m. on Monday, June 19, Genesee Avenue will be closed from La Jolla Village Drive to Nobel Drive to allow crews to connect underground utilities and make streetscape improvements. Please use Costa Verde Boulevard or Towne Centre Drive to detour the work area.
Beginning Monday, June 19, through Wednesday, June 21, the southbound Genesee Avenue lanes and intersection at La Jolla Village Drive will be closed. Two-way through traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes of Genesee Avenue. This closure will take place each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Eastbound and westbound traffic at the La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue intersection will not be available. Please use Costa Verde Boulevard or Towne Centre Drive to detour the work area.
