SAN DIEGO BAY — San Diego Harbor Police officers responded to a report of a collision involving two personal watercraft vessels at about 3:27 p.m. Friday, July 30. Witnesses reported the collision occurred near the “G” Street Mole, located at 750 N. Harbor Drive, according to a report from the Harbor Police. A teenage female aboard one of the vessels was injured and fell into the water following the collision, the report stated. A boater in the area pulled the injured girl onto his vessel and transported her to a nearby dock. A Harbor Police vessel and vehicle units, as well as San Diego Fire Department personnel, responded to the area. San Diego Fire Department personnel transported the injured girl to an area hospital for evaluation. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Harbor Police Department.
