Two suspects who attempted to take a a female’s purse in the 3100 block of Ocean Front Walk in Mission Beach on Sunday, July 18 at 12:57 a.m. were stabbed several times in their torso’s with a knife by the victim’s boyfriend, according to a report form the San Diego Police Department. Both suspects were taken to San Diego area hospital trauma centers with non-life threatening wounds. The San Diego Police Department Northern Division is handling the investigation.
