“Guys and Dolls” is a well-known musical romantic comedy. The show takes the audience from the heart of Times Square to the cafés of Havana and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up where they belong. The singin’ and dancin’ starts with “Adelaide’s Lament,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
“Guys and Dolls” is directed by David Pearson, with the story and characters of Damon Runyon. Music and lyrics are by Frank Loesser; the book is by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Pamela Monroe is the music director, with choreography by Joanne Lovejoy and Linda Weber.
