UC High grad wins scholarship
At the 2007 California Democratic Convention, University City High School student Zachary Warma was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for his essay “Creative Ways to Use the Internet for Political Purposes.”
The California Democratic Party Computer and Internet Caucus, along with Steve Westly, former candidate for governor, funded the scholarship and selected the essay.
Warma will attend Stanford University begining in the fall.
