On Feb. 13, the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce enjoyed a successful Business After Five Mixer at Harry’s Bar. More than 40 attendees enjoyed tasty appetizers and great networking.
The next Business After Five will be Wednesday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the fabulous Fleming’s Restaurant in the Aventine Center. You will enjoy delicious complimentary appetizers and meet new and interesting people.
The Chamber Networking breakfasts, held every Thursday at 7:05 a.m. at the Bristol Farms Store and Restaurant in the Costa Verde Center, are rapidly becoming very popular. Attendance is free and open to members and non-members alike. Thursday, March 20, will be a kick-off event, and a large attendance is expected.
These informal networking breakfasts are offered as an alternative to the costly networking organizations that require perfect attendance and a highly structured format. The “drop in when you can” format provides the opportunity and the flexibility for busy businesspeople to fit networking into their dynamic schedules as time permits. Meet-and-greet begins at 7:05 with a sit-down breakfast from 7:25 to 8:15. We hope you will join us soon. Bring a friend and plenty of business cards.
The 2008 Business Expo will be held April 23 at the Del Mar Fair Grounds from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be a joint event with the Del Mar and Solana Beach chambers and promises to be the biggest chamber event of the year. Come and join more than 100 area businesses and enjoy free samples from at least a dozen local restaurants.
