“We need to change things,” Galliher said. More than six months into an ongoing battle with fellow town council members, Galliher said that she wants the town council to move past the Shore Club battle and work together to build the future of Pacific Beach. “I don’t even have a vote on the board,” Galliher said. Candidates emailed out a ballot to those running for office asking what their thoughts were on issues related to alcohol. The email was sent by the wife of the PBTC candidate for president. The other candidate for president is Rose Galliher. Galliher said that she has known Wilding his entire life and likes him, but does not think that his stance on issues is good for Pacific Beach. Wilding’s mother was a former president of the PBTC as well. “To me it’s an invasion of my privacy,” Galliher said.
