Third-grader Lucia from The Children’s School holds her sealife painting as her best pal Alexa hugs her June 1 at the La Jolla Wyland Galleries, 1025 Prospect St. The famed artist, who was just named the official artist of next year’s Beijing Olympics, talks about a painting he created on the spot to be auctioned off. The gallery invited students from The Children’s School to exhibit their Wyland-inspired art.
