
The Lot, the La Jolla cineplex and fine-dining restaurant that opened to rave reviews last October, has moved past its setting in and is now offering a series of weekly specials, including fish tacos (regarded by some as San Diego’s official currency). The menu includes: Mondays – Ceviche Night ($14), offering locally caught halibut, bell pepper, cucumber, cilantro, limes, lemon, orange and onions garnished with avocado, Fresno peppers and shaved breakfast radish; Tuesdays – Taco Tuesday ($3), with single rib-eye ranchero tacos or beer-battered / grilled mahi tacos and two papas and soy chorizo taquitos or two rolled chicken taquitos; Wednesdays – Italy @ The Lot, wherein you can build your own pizza with your choice of three toppings or create your favorite pasta dish with a variety spaghetti, sauces and added protein; and Mondays through Thursdays – Music Under the Stars, featuring all types of great live music, from 7 to 10 p.m. on the patio.
