Target will celebrate the grand opening of its Ocean Beach small-format store this summer and is now beginning to hire 50 team members. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply at Target.com/careers ahead of job fairs held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 24-25 at the Target Sports Arena Store, 3245 Sports Arena Blvd.

The job fair will be held  Walk-in candidates are welcome. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online ahead of time, and may continue to apply beyond the job fair dates. Store leaders will conduct interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture. Interested candidates can continue to apply beyond the job fair dates — an additional job fair will take place June 7-8.

Nationwide, Target has prioritized opening small-format stores to serve guests in urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses – areas where a full-size Target typically wouldn’t fit. This new store will offer a curated assortment of food and beverage items, apparel and accessories, health and beauty, and home décor — all based on the community’s needs.
