Every year, Window Fashion Vision magazine and the Window Fashion Certified Professional program recognize elite interior designers and workrooms that excel in design and craftsmanship, giving the industry professionals the chance for recognition by their colleagues and their peers. Symphony Home Décor and Design in La Jolla was recently so honored in Las Vegas, receiving the Envision Design and Ingenuity Workroom Award for first place in custom bedding. This competition is meticulously judged, making the presentation quite an honor.
Symphony Home Décor and Design established itself in January of 2011 and opened its storefront in the heart of La Jolla in January of 2013. Although new, the store is backed by its staff’s more than 25 years’ experience in the design industry. It offers a luxurious private label and custom workroom, specializing in bedding, drapery and accessories.
Symphony Home Décor and Design carries its own line of fabrics in addition to those of popular designers such as Robert Allen and Lee Jofa.
Understanding the importance of networking within its industry, Symphony Home Décor and Design entered the Envision Design and Ingenuity Workroom competition last September. Under the category of custom bedding, it submitted one of its most gorgeous duvet sets, Secret in Nile. The effort paid off, with company founder Symphony Moussighi, her team and her family headed to Las Vegas.
