San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect involved in an assault with a deadly weapon case in the Pacific Beach area. On July 7, at approximately 9:21 p.m., San Diego Police Officers responded to a report of a violent disturbance outside the Firehouse American Eatery and Lounge, located at 722 Grand Ave., in San Diego. Officers arrived at the scene and located an adult male employee of the bar who had sustained a significant head injury. The suspect had struck the employee with a metal object. Other employees of the bar were also assaulted by the suspect. Their injuries range from serious to minor. The suspect fled the area prior to officers arriving. Investigators are asking members of the public who were at this location during this incident and have cell phone video, to contact them. Suspect’s description: The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, 6-feet tall, weighing 250 pounds, and wearing a white T-shirt. The suspect may have fled the area in a dark colored SUV.
