
PENINSULA — The relentless subtropical storm that continues to pummel San Diego and its beach communities with at least two inches of rain in the last 48 hours is expected to make an exit later today — but not without delivering more street flooding, widespread traffic accidents and power outages. Forecasters with the National Weather Service said thunderstorms, hail — possibly even funnel clouds — are expected to strike late this morning or early this afternoon. — Kevin McKay
