Bishop’s School tennis camp will net fun The Bishop’s School is holding its annual summer tennis camp through Aug. 7. A co-ed camp for ages 4 to 16, the camp is conducted by USPTA certified tennis professional and Bishop’s School head tennis coach José Ruelas. The camp is designed to introduce players to all aspects of the game and proper technique and to enhance the skills of players from beginning through advanced. The seven one-week sessions are held at the Douglas Man-chester Tennis Center from 9 a.m. to noon (lunch optional for additional fee). Lakers, Nuggets to visit San Diego Oct. 23 The NBA world champion Los Angeles Lakers will host the Denver Nuggets in a pre-season contest on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at the San Diego Sports Arena.
