The idea started in San Francisco and has expanded to the UCSD campus, establishing partnerships with Papa Luna’s and other local eateries that prepare the meals – order from the android or iOS app menu on your phone, and if you’re within the SpoonRocket car’s service area, you’re ready to eat amid the car’s custom-built mobile technology and special heating equipment.
The menu includes a maximum of four entrees and one smoothie, with one vegetarian option available. Menu items range from $8 to $12, with a $2.50 delivery charge.
