This La Jolla kitchen by Margaret Dean, Allied Member American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is part of the Oct. 14 self-guided Fall Kitchen Tour. The updated Craftsman-style kitchen with some zen-like qualities features cherry-wood cabinets, an angled corner design and mixture of granite and concrete countertops with a green glass backsplash. It is one of nine kitchens on the tour, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 on the day of the event.
