Skaters from across the country gathered at Robb Field in Ocean Beach on Nov. 12 to participate in a special 12-mile fundraising “Skate for the Troops” event for injured American veterans. Funds were raised for the nonprofit Semper Fi Foundation, which has awarded more than $55 million in grants to injured and ill service members and their families.
