There was glitz. There was glamour. There was fashion. There was a jersey. On Dec. 12, the San Diego Seals revealed the jersey they’ll wear for home games in their inaugural season at an invite-only VIP red carpet fashion show at Brick in Liberty Station to a crowd of 150 women.
The Seals begin play in November 2018 at Valley View Casino Center in the Midway District.
The purple jersey with gold sleeve and shoulder panels features the team’s primary logo on the center chest, with the National Lacrosse League shield just above by the collar. Gussets down the side are black.
The Seals wordmark appears on the reverse side across the lower-back, while the seal’s trident crown is above the nameplate. The team’s secondary logo – boasting the city’s initials with a wave pattern – can be found by the shoulder blades.
“Tonight was an amazing celebration, and marked yet another milestone for the organization and its fans,” said Seals president Steve Govett. “The jersey is the most visible piece of apparel for any team, and the marquee offering in the merchandise line. It’s the perfect holiday gift!”
Fans who order the jersey at SealsLax.com by Dec. 15 are guaranteed delivery for Christmas.
