Thousands of San Diego State University students got a wide range of degrees this past weekend during several days of commencement ceremonies at the school.
An estimated 11,659 SDSU degree candidates had the opportunity to take part in the school’s 2023 commencement weekend. SDSU was to host eight separate ceremonies over three days on campus and one ceremony at the school’s Imperial Valley campus this week.
New in 2023, the school was to host a separate event targeted towards graduate studies. The Fowler College of Business was to host the largest ceremony with more than 2,100 candidates while the smallest ceremony was slated to be the College of Education/Undergraduate Studies with an estimated 622 degrees.
The top degree with the most popular major was psychology.
