They’re baa-ack… more scary, good deals on furry felines at County Animal Services.
Hundreds of cats and kittens will still take center stage for this production and adoption fees will drop to the frighteningly low, low price of only $5. And there’s a new twist in this Halloween story.
“This Halloween promotion starts Saturday, Oct. 22 and ends Sunday, Oct. 30,” said County Animal Services director Dawn Danielson. “The key word is Sunday. We’ll be open six days a week, including Saturday and Sunday, as part of a pilot project to see if we should make the change permanent.”
The 90-day pilot project is scheduled to run from Sunday, Oct. 23 through Sunday, Jan. 22.
Meantime, the Halloween kitty-cat promotion for $5 adoptions includes vaccinations, spay or neuter, a microchip and a free veterinary visit.
You can get an advance preview of the cats available for adoption on Animal Services’ website. The three animal care facilities are open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
