Re: Guest Commentary, “Born from winds of change,” Dec. 7 Beacon, Suhail Khalil, a member of the Peninsula Community Planning Board, is obviously strong willed, possesses a powerful ego, and is given to dizzying flights of rhetoric. After all, people can have different opinions on local projects without going the “wrong direction.” To say the PCPB board is being “swept into a toxic cesspool” just because they don’t all agree with him is outrageous.
He wasn’t even elected on the first ballot and definitely was not appointed czar of the board.
