Ed Harris, former interim District 2 councilmember and 27-year lifeguard, accepts the endorsement of Save San Diego Neighborhoods for his candidacy for mayor on Wednesday, March 30 outside the Pacific Beach Library. Before a crowd of community activists opposed to the proliferation of short term vacation rentals in the beach and near-coastal San Diego communities, Save San Diego Neighborhoods president Ronan Gray criticized incumbent Mayor Kevin Faulconer for his failure to take action since it was first brought to his attention as a critical issue in 2007.
