Rotary Club of La Jolla announces new membership categories

The Rotary Club of La Jolla is pleased to announce the approval of three new membership categories. These include: local business, family, and emerging leaders under age 40.

Local business membership allows any of up to four designated representatives from that business to attend meetings for the price of one membership. Family membership now allows for individuals to participate as full members of the club, even if they are unable to regularly attend lunch meetings. Emerging leaders in our community are invited to become members at reduced rates.

“We believe expanding our membership opportunities will allow for more service-minded people to make a difference in the lives of others, both locally and globally,” said Rotary Club President, Charles Hartford.

Founded in 1947, the Rotary Club of La Jolla is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to make a positive difference in the lives of others. The Rotary Club of La Jolla meets for lunch each Tuesday at 12 p.m. and welcomes anyone to join. For more information about our club and about Rotary International, contact John Trifiletti at [email protected] or visit rotarycluboflajolla.com.

Rotary International is a global service organization that connects and unites more than a million people in over 35,000 clubs to create lasting change in local communities and across the globe. For more than a century, Rotarians have bridged cultures and connected continents to fight illiteracy and poverty, promote clean water and sanitation, and tackle global challenges like polio. For more than 30 years, Rotary has helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children in 122 countries.
