The recent grand opening of the Mike Gotch memorial pedestrian/bike bridge over Rose Creek reminded me of a photo I took on Aug. 21, 1986. It was taken from behind the Atlantis Restaurant — the Hubbs Research Institute today — and shows the old South Ingraham Street Bridge and the east span of the new bridge.
