One of the most promising new performers to emerge from San Diego’s music scene in recent memory is sweet voiced Raelee Nikole. She released her debut album, “Always,” in 2015, spending the last year building a sizable fan base for her hook-filled acoustic pop tunes through relentless touring. Performing on Thursday, Aug 25 at the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, Nikole will be part of a unique Conservation Concert, pairing her music with a science chat by HSWRI scientist, Dr. Connie Silbernagel. Funds raised from the concert go directly to the institute’s local wildlife conservation efforts making this a great opportunity to help the community while enjoying the music of one of San Diego’s top talents. The evening will include complimentary munchies and a drink on the shores of Mission Bay at HSWRI HQ on Ingraham Street. Raelee Nikole: Thursday, Aug. 25 at Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, 2595 Ingraham St. 5:30 p.m.
