PB women to compete for Miss iTAN title Could a Pacific Beach resident be Southern California’s next role model for living a healthy, active lifestyle? Locals will find out on Saturday, April 28 when Danyelle Nicole Wolf and Erica Adriany compete as two of 25 finalists in the fifth annual Miss iTAN® event at Stingaree in the Gaslamp Quarter downtown. “I love that iTAN Sun Spray Spa promotes living an active, healthy life-style in addition to maintain a natural-looking tan,” said Wolf. “I feel that my active lifestyle as a top, nationally-rank-ed USA boxer and a personal trainer coincides with what iTAN is promoting through the Miss iTAN Competition.”  Adriany was similarly enthusiastic. “My hope in competing in the Miss iTAN Competition is that I can promote a healthy, active lifestyle along with an amazing, natural-looking tan,” said Adriany. The winner of the competition will be the brand ambassador for iTAN Sun Spray Spa® and will promote health and wellness throughout Southern California. Wolf and Adriany made the cut to join the beautiful, bikini-clad ladies on stage by submitting a full-body photo and a statement explaining why they should be Miss iTAN. Throughout March, about 85 women entered to be finalists, raising more than $425 for YWCA of San Diego County. The finalists exhibited strong virtues of self-empowerment and qualities of independent, healthy and beautiful women. The competition runs from 8 to 10 p.m. at Stingaree, 454 Sixth Ave. Humane Society to host Walk for Animals The San Diego Humane Society will host its 18th annual Walk for Animals event to promote humane law enforcement principles and its anti-animal cruelty campaign on Saturday, May 5 at Crown Point Shores at Mission Bay. The cost is $35 for adults 18 and older and $5 for children 17 and under.
