Safdie Rabines Architects and the Scripps Park Pavilion/Restroom Project Committee will host a public meeting Thursday, June 26, to gather feedback on the project’s preliminary design concepts and what the new facility would need. The parley will be held at the La Jolla Recreation Center, 615 Prospect St., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Designers are looking for the community’s guidance. This facility needs to work for people, and it also needs to integrate into the park and its naturalness. At the same time, designers are also excited to create a functional work of art.
