Point Loma women's tennis loses to Hawaii Pacific

The Point Loma women’s tennis team lost 5-0 to No. 7 ranked Hawaii Pacific in the first round of the 2015 PacWest Conference Tennis Championships on Thursday, April 16.
HPU, which is seeded No. 2 in the championships, improved to 19-5 with the win while No. 7 seeded PLNU fell to 9-13. The Sharks won all three doubles matches and then pick up victories at No. 2 and No. 4 singles to earn the victory.
PLNU drops into the consolation section of the PacWest Championships. It will face No. 6 seeded Sonoma State on Friday for the right to play in the fourth place match. No. 7 Hawai’i Pacific 5, No. 25 Point Loma 0
