Point Loma Nazarene University’s (PLNU) fall 2008 production of “The Magic Flute” recently earned third-place honors in the National Opera Association’s opera production competition.  The opera was produced and directed by Dr. Juliette Singler while Dr. Philip Tyler served as orchestra conductor. Dr. Craig Johnson was the musical director for the production. Tyler is a professor of music at PLNU. Singler and Johnson are associate music professors.
