On Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the Point Loma/Dana Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary will hold the 19th Point Loma Garden Walk in Point Loma Heights.
This is the first time this area has been featured on the garden walk.
Eight different architectural and landscape styles will be showcased, from traditional to contemporary. Garden walkers will see award-winning gardens, a Japanese-style garden, succulent walls, colorful native plants, waterfalls, ponds, pools, and a palm paradise along with an abundance of ideas for hardscapes and backyard entertaining.
A bonus in some gardens will be artists’ demonstrations.
A boutique will be held at All Souls’ Episcopal Church and will feature a plant sale, artisans, crafters, clothing, jewelry, and food trucks. Artists from the Point Loma Artists Association will offer a variety of fine arts including ceramics, glass, wood, water and oil paintings, photography, and calligraphy.
Net proceeds benefit the Division of Plastic Surgery-Craniofacial Services at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Ticket price is $30, tickets can be purchased at pointlomagardenwalk.com, on the day of the walk at 1439 Savoy Circle, and All Souls’ Episcopal Church, 1475 Catalina Blvd. For more information, call 619-224-6494.
