The Public Utilities Department has scheduled a water project in areas of La Jolla, which will result in a water outage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. As a result of work scheduled by the Public Utilities Department, there will be construction noise in the area(s) noted. The areas affected are 1200 Prospect St., 7756-7900 Exchange Place, 1235-1300 Coast Blvd., 1200 Silverado St., 1200-1400 Park Row, 7900 Prospect Place, and 1500 Coast Walk.
The reason for the water shutdown is a design build project 820 water system upgrade to two 8-inch connections and one 12-inch cross.
