Photographer Don Balch braved the cold wind and rain last weekend to get some visuals on how the community was affected by the inclement weather. What he found were all-but deserted beaches, streets littered with palm fronds and some damage to buildings. Here are his images from what many San Diegans hope was the tail end of winter.
