Arts District Liberty Station invites San Diegans to get up and dance at the final concert of the season.
Back by popular demand, Vaud & The Villains will be performing with their 19 piece orchestra and cabaret 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at the North Promenade, 2848 Dewey Road. The group has evolved from a folk band singing traditional tunes, into an originally voiced genre-bending spectacle commonly described as Americana Noir meets Moulin Rouge sure to make you want to sing and dance along.
Plus, catch opening act Iron Sage Wood, featuring Damian DeRobbio, Paul Cannon, Abner Nevarez and Chris Cooper, playing a soulful groove combined with world rhythm and conscious lyrics.
Bring a blanket, grab a picnic at Liberty Public Market and head to the North Promenade, which will be set up to allow lots of room to dance and get up close to the acts. The show is produced in partnership with Damian DeRobbio, of Beer, Food & Music.
