Amateur photographers submitted their photos to the Peninsula Beacon’s annual photo contest last month. Winners were determined by votes cast at the Peninsula Beacon’s booth at the OB Street Fair. There were more than 400 votes this year. Chris Mannerino?won first prize and a $100 gift certificate to Donovan’s, Ray Hitchcock?earned second and two tickets on Hornblower for a whale watching tour. And Josh Utley took third and a $50 gift certificate to Nelson Photo. The Beacon congratulates the winners.
