SATURDAY, June 22 • The 34th annual Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off takes off on Saturday, June 22 and this year will celebrate the 100th anniversary of San Diego’s first amusement park, Wonderland. Thousands of guests will gather to enjoy beachfront entertainment with six stages of continuous live music, beer garden, oceanfront chili cook-off and more. In honor of Wonderland, there will be a “Wonderland: Take Two” game area in Saratoga Park with a surf simulator, large inflatable slides and other attractions. One of the most popular activities is the painting of two annual Ocean Beach mural projects, which are hung in the community, with one of this year’s designs paying homage to Wonderland.
