On Thursday, Oct. 12 a 65-year old male was driving his Chevy Spark westbound on Downwind Way as a 59-year-old male pedestrian was walking eastbound on La Jolla Shores Drive. The Chevy Spark turned southbound onto La Jolla Shores Dr. and struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with multiple life-threatening injuries. SD Police Traffic Division is currently investigating this incident.
