The Pacific Beach Planning Group (PBPG) will hold a special community meeting on Alcohol License Issues and Policy in Pacific Beach, Monday, June 14, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pacific Beach Middle School Auditorium, 4676 Ingraham St. This presentation is based on months of information gathering and includes: an overview of alcohol licensing issues in Pacific Beach; crime and enforcement; how many licenses exist and how many are allowed; who decides to issue a license and the criteria they use; San Diego Police and ABC policies; land-use policies; recent developments; what other communities have done and what Pacific Beach can do.
