PACIFIC BEACH — The Pacific Beach, Taylor Branch Library is holding its annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Children and teens are invited to stop by the library, pick up a blank pumpkin sheet to be taken home and decorated. The participants must return their decorated pumpkins by Oct. 26 at 5:30 p.m. The contest began Oct. 1 and the library has several entrants already in several categories. Winners will receive real pumpkins. “They are going to have a panel of judges,” said Mona Britton with the library.
