The Park 2 Park Shuttle, which launched in April but ceased operations last month, is back in business. The service will be available Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. through Labor Day.
“We haven’t made a decision about after the summer yet, but will offer consistent service every weekend between now and then,” said Omar Passons, owner of Park 2 Park Shuttle.
An all-night pass is available on the bus for $5. An all-inclusive July pass is $25, while a summer pass is $50, allowing unlimited rides through Labor Day. Various merchants along the shuttle route offer rider discounts, such as $2 off beer and wine at SOHO restaurant and a free appetizer with purchase of a bottle of wine at Mosaic Wine Bar.
For San Diego LGBT Pride weekend, July 17-18, Park 2 Park is offering a $15 pass for advance purchase. This pass includes a ride to and from the parade (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) plus transfers along the regular route at Bourbon Street and the Lafayette Hotel to the Pride festival in Balboa Park and Urban Mo’s and Baja Betty’s in Hillcrest (7 p.m.-1 a.m.). Sunday service will run from the same transfer points to the festival from 3 p.m.-9 p.m.
