Bail was set at $300,000 Sept. 27 for a Pacific Beach man who was charged with stalking and assaulting his girlfriend at her La Jolla home with a firearm.
The bail was increased from $100,000 to $300,000 when Michael Anthony Davee, 52, was arraigned on seven felonies and two misdemeanors before San Diego Superior Court Judge Fred Maguire.
The woman told police she had a restraining order against Davee, but he had climbed up on a balcony at her residence in the 6400 block of La Jolla Boulevard and pointed a gun at her on Sept. 22. She wasn’t hurt and he fled.
San Diego Police officers set up a SWAT unit outside Davee’s home in the 1700 block of Law Street in Pacific Beach, but he wasn’t there. Some people had been evacuated as a precaution.
Davee was later arrested at the Dana Resort in Mission Bay and he remains in jail.
Davee is also charged with making a criminal threat to his girlfriend, three counts of possessing a firearm and ammunition by a felon, receiving a firearm while a restraining order is in effect, disobeying a court order, and resisting arrest. Davee pleaded not guilty. Maguire set a preliminary hearing for Nov. 2.
