Overnight closures continue on northbound Interstate 5 as crews set falsework, the temporary structures used to support the bridge during construction, for the Trolley overpass spanning over I-5 at Voigt Drive.The following closures will be in place: Thursday, Dec. 13, through Friday, Dec 14:
Full closure of I-5 northbound lanes from La Jolla Village Drive to Genesee Avenue.
Work hours are 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Northbound motorists will be detoured via SR 52 East and I-805 North. Motorists should plan to take alternate routes to avoid potential congestion, as significant delays are expected during these closures.  Due to the complexity of the work, closures can be postponed at any time without notice. View closure updates at ShiftSanDiego.com.
