Starting June 9, a series of temporary overnight closures will begin on southbound Interstate 5 as crews remove falsework at Voigt Drive and install falsework south of Nobel Drive. Motorists should plan to take alternate routes to avoid potential congestion, as significant delays are expected while these temporary overnight closures are in place. Additional closures will be required on northbound I-5 after the southbound closures are complete, and notices will be provided at a later date. The following closures will be in place: • Full closure of southbound lanes from the Interstate 5/Interstate 805 Interchange to La Jolla Colony Drive starting Sunday, June 9, and continuing through Thursday, June 13, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. • Detour routes are available via southbound I-5 to southbound I-805 and westbound SR 52.
