The grand opening of the Mission Bay High School Stadium will take place 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16. After more than a year of construction, the new stadium is complete with a football / soccer field, track, softball field, bleachers, and facilities. The inaugural track and field meet will begin immediately following the ceremony. Spring open house will take place in the gym from 3 to 6 p.m. Come learn about the International Baccalaureate Program, music, athletics and clubs. Park in the student parking lot at the corner of Grand Avenue and Lee Street. Concessions will be available at the grand opening and food trucks will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. near the stadium.
