President Obama played golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego Oct. 11, a day after a multi-city series of political fundraising from San Francisco and Southern California.
The president arrived at the municipal golf course in the early afternoon with his friends Darrell Harrington and Mike Ramos. He had spent the night in Rancho Santa Fe and planned to depart this afternoon, media reports said.
During an event at a home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, Obama singled out Rep. Scott Peters (D-San Diego) as “one of the finest members of Congress.” He also praised Peters’ votes on trade and equal pay.
“(Peters) not only has a good heart, but knows how to get things done,” Obama said. — 10News
