Art in The Pines Spring Art Festival and Sale to benefit Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve took place on May 15 2011 at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, with the wild flowers in full bloom. The theme was a celebration of nature through the interpretive eye of the artist. Art categories included local nature and landscape paintings, pastels, drawing, sculpture, ceramics and photography. The day will include music, refreshments, guided nature walks, children’s art and activities and presentations in the amphitheater under the pines.
